GENERAL INFORMATION:
-
The climate in October can be pretty
chilly in the morning. Warm-up clothing would be advisable up until
start time. The temperature will rise to a comfortable level for
running.
-
The elevation in Payson is 5,000 feet
so if you are not used to higher elevation it might be advisable to
arrive a day or two early to get acclimated.
-
Water and portable toilets will be
positioned along the course and by the Start/Finish line.
-
There are
several places along the course where spectators can watch the runners
go by. The hill called “The Challenge” from McLane Road to the top of
the hill by the Airport would be a good spot. Anywhere along the Home
Stretch would be a good spot to cheer the runners on.
-
Results will be posted near the
Green Valley Park finish line after the race and on the WEB the day after
the race.
